PRESS RELEASE
The International Business Association (IBA) at the California State University of Fresno recently visited World Trade Press in Petaluma, California. The IBA, organized under the University’s Craig School of Business, is made up of 30 students majoring in international business with backgrounds in accounting, language studies, economics, finance and engineering. International Business Association members realize the world is getting smaller and wanted to visit World Trade Press for practical insight into international business.
IBA Trips Manager Dan McNicholas arranged the first trip to meet Mr. Hinkelman, CEO/Publisher and author, after learning about World Trade Press’s Dictionary of International Trade. The extensive reference text came highly recommended by the CEO of an international business who recommended it as the industry standard for international trade. The first trip was such a success that the group again traveled a whopping 5 hours by bus to hear a presentation by Hinkelman.
In his presentation Mr. Hinkelman shared from his 40 years of business experience and gave tips and hints for successfully entering the world of international trade. In addition, World Trade Press presented each student with a complimentary copy of A Short Course in International Marketing Blunders and a beautiful hardbound copy of a World Travel Atlas.
After feasting on pizza the group enthusiastically purchased discounted copies of the Dictionary of International Trade, Importers Manual USA and laminated world map posters.
Comments of appreciation by the students are a record of the successful day.
